Why Choose Dairymaster?
ClusterCleanse
Dairymaster ClusterCleanseThe Dairymaster ClusterCleanse rinses each cluster after each cow is milked. This results in a more hygienic cluster for the next cow cutting down on the risk of infections and giving you a healthier herd and better milk quality.

Why choose Dairymaster?

Dairymaster is different when it comes to milking cows! We have focused on improving performance, cow comfort and efficiency in milking cows.

The Dairymaster cluster has been designed to have the lowest levels of liner slip, excellent milk out, faster milking and lower shear forces on teats.

One of the first issues in milking cows that Dairymaster tackled was the reduction of liner slip.

Liner slip can lead to mastitis and increased SCC. Reduced slip was achieved by evaluating many liner designs using X-Ray analysis of cow’s teats during milking. It was possible to examine exactly what interactions were taking place between the teat and liner. This research resulted in better liner designs where the contact between the teat and the liner was increased which resulted in lower liner slip.

The second challenge was to maximise milk yield and milk cows as completely as possible. The teat-liner interaction has a major influence on milk yield. Many liner evaluation studies show the first class performance of the Dairymaster system but perhaps one of the most important ones studies show that in a full lactation trial the Dairymaster cluster yielded 5% more when compared to another commonly used commercially available cluster.

On average a Dairymaster parlour typically milks each cow 1 minute faster. This performance advantage has been developed using technology known as milk flow simulation. This technique allows laboratory evaluation of milking units where the results directly correlate with milking cows.

The Dairymaster cluster is the most efficient cluster on the market. Research also shows that the stress on the teat end is reduced when compared to many other systems. The milking vacuum during the B phase (when the liner is open) is also extremely stable, furthermore there is a large reduction in vacuum during the rest phase. Dairymaster pulsation mimics the natural way of milking and the vacuum profile of a Dairymaster milking unit is very similar to that of a calf suckling .

Dairymaster milking systems have top performance when tested in accordance to new ISO International Standards for milking equipment.

It is the company’s commitment to ongoing research & development which has resulted in the unrivalled performance which is only found with Dairymaster equipment.
